Scan from the Buttons

Scanning documents or images from this scanner is very easy. Follow the two steps described below:

Place the document or images onto the scanner. (Refer to the Scanner User's Guide for more information in placing paper on the flatbed glass properly.)

Place only text documents for OCR purposes. Do not scan a photo using the OCR button.

Do one of the following to start scanning:

Press the button from the scanner's panel.

Right-click the icon

in the Windows system tray, and then choose Execute in the pop-up menu that opens. Click the desired button function item in the pop-up menu.

The scanner starts to scan immediately and carry out the corresponding action according to settings you have set up in the Button Configuration window.

When you scan and upload large amount files to the FTP server, you will see the icon

in your Windows system tray. Right-click on this icon will open a pop-up menu and allow you to:

View the file transferring status by clicking Open from the pop-up menu.

Terminate the file transfer during the uploading process by clicking Close from the pop-up menu.
